Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Jian Yan. I have been practicing Chinese medcine in China and USA for more than 20 years. At the same time, I also have had chance to practice Western medicine in China for more than 15 years. So I believe that my personal direct experience on applying these two distinct medical systems speaks for itself. I have always been amazed by remarkable recovery my patients experienced after obtaining Chinese medicine therapies. But I have also been puzzled by the fact that these effects are generally regarded as non-scientific proven in the eyes of modern scientists.
There may be something wrong, I believed. So I came to USA to find answer. I spent seven years on cancer, arthritis, and genetic disease studies in standard scientific laboratories using cutting-edge scientific research tools, such as microarrays and next generation sequencing. What I found is that there is something wrong with the scientific research per se, which is under transformation from conventional way to systems way. I believe these two medical systems should learn each other to help people achieve optimal health.
